There is only one passenger train company currently operating in Cambodia, the Royal Railway. It operates a limited number of routes, mainly connecting Phnom Penh with the coastal cities of Sihanoukville and Kampot.
In addition to passenger trains, Royal Railway also operates a cargo service, transporting goods and commodities across the country.
While train travel in Cambodia may not be as extensive as in some other countries, it is a unique and enjoyable way to see the countryside and experience local culture. Plus, it can be a more environmentally friendly option than traveling by car or bus.
